I have finished my magazine and it looks amazing, I really am proud of myself for achieving what I have during this coursework.

I decided to add a few custom made pictures from photoshop so I found some images online and re-created them in my own style so that it can be used in my magazine. This included the Picture for the Brit awards and I took an online tutorital while at home to create a good looking image of the earth and the moon in space and because I have made it despite following a tutorital, It counts and can be used. I also used an online title creator to recreate the Name of a website called Eurodance Rage and edited the results in photoshop to give an almost Identical title. I am proud of my results.

Progress

I Have almost finished My Magazine and I just have the front cover left to finish. It would have been finished sooner but unfortunately, my photoshop at home stopped working and after working so hard to fix it, I couldn't prevail and so I am still working on my magazine.

Photography: Last Night

Yesterday, I borrowed a camera (A Cannon Eos I believe) from college with permission and last night, attempted to take pictures of me and some friends that match my picture flatplans.

Now. There were multiple problems and one particluar problem was trying to get a picture that matched my front cover's flat plan. No matter what settings or light intensity levels or even locations I tried, the picture didn't look good but I have an old photograph of me from a year ago with almost perfectly matches(apart from the arm locations) One of my opther front cover designs and I will use this instead.

Photographs

        It is really far into the coursework and I have had a lot of difficulty getting photographs due to time management and working on multiple projects and I was afraid that I would fail in getting them done on time...

       Fortunately, I have created a solution for at least 75% of my pictures and that is... Use Pictures that have been taken of me and my friends from various events. These are when I have taken pictures set by a timer and with a brilliant camera! They may not match some of my picture flat-plans but they are close to them!

With this, i can get back on track when it comes to my magazine! thank God!

Creating My Magazine: Before

I have gotten to know the tools that I will be using very well with practice at home and at college so by working from these flatplans, I will create what hopefully will look like my own style but a realistic looking magazine.

College Magazine Contents Page

 Last post - I was told that I had to create a front cover and contents page for a college magazine before I created my Music Magazine. This was so that I had some practise using photoshop and know what to do. After creating this, I have also decided that instead of using a font for my title on my magazine, I create my own as this will be fun, better looking for the magazine and I will feel like I have made a greater accomplishment.

This Post - This is my Practice Contents page that is part of my college magazine, I have been told that it didn't have to be fully made but only needed to be a flat-plan so I have left it in this form so that I have more time to work on my Real Magazine.
